Dr. Gyekye-Jandoh is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Political Science. Her area of specialization are Comparative Politics, Politics of the Developing World, Democratization, Democracy and Elections in Africa, and Civil Society and its Role in Elections.

Her current research covers Civil Society and its Relationship with Government/State, Civil Society and Its Role in Elections, Elections and Democracy in Ghana, and The Role of the International Community in Ghana’s Democratization, and Explaining the Dearth of Women’s Political Participation in Ghana.
